Artist's Comments

An old sketch that was scanned, smudged a bit in photoshop when I first learned how to use it, and recently compiled with a wrinkled paper background (as you can see from my gallery I love the aged sketch look). I like to give some of my old stuff some new life. ;)

That is just gorgeous - such amazing detail and penciling, and the digital effects really help bring it to life. Awesome piece, just awesome :+fav:

...why does life take away from our desire to live?

VERY good.
Simply astounding.
The shadowing, detail, and percision of everything drawn in this sketch are magnificently well-done. The proportions seem to be perfect, and the entire piece is almost flawless.
The crumpled paper adds a nice effect to the whole sketch, whether intended to or not.
An astonishing piece of art.
Fantastic.

Aging a sketch is quite an ironic way to give something a new look. However, it looks great. I like the effect, and the pegasi look absolutely beautiful.

They probably are too short... I don't use references or look at anatomy much, and I probably should! I'm going yo work on anatomical accuracy in the future. ;)
:iconmikeerty:
horses are notoriously hard to draw, to me at least. i have to use reference because i dont have a clue, ive concentrated on human anatomy.
well done, its nice, but the black pegasus' foreshortened leg looks a bit 'off'
:iconsmcnonnahs:
It is off! Ha. The sketch is more than 4 years old, so I'm not surprised about its shortcomings. Thanks for the criticism!
