Shark- watercolor and markerby ~SMcNonnahs

ok I had to put this in here, I started to fall in love with it. I had a very motivated art day yesterday...

This is about 20 minutes total of work. Drew the shark pretty fast with a sharpie, filled in the color with some cheap watercolors I found in the closet, and tore the edges off for a rugged and 'sharky' look. I think I could sell more like this and be able to part with them pretty easily I think- because I can just as easily make more! And it's really fun too!

...One day I'll be making these with actual specific species of sea life I hope...

20 minutes..... wow. Just.... wow.
Barring the teeth, she looks like a Tiger shark to me - and a very pretty one at that.
I love the angle, the watercolours are awesome, and the ripped edges do lend a nice touch, indeed.
Being the shark nut I am, I'm just going to drool over it for a while, as I think it's very well done.
